By using the PersonalTranslator Discord bot or this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

PersonalTranslator is a Discord bot that translates messages using third-party translation APIs. It is provided by PositiveSquare ("we", "us", "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and comply with Discord's Terms of Service to use PersonalTranslator. By using the bot, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Tokens and purchases

  • Tokens are a non-refundable in-app currency used to pay for translations.
  • Tokens are deducted for each translation API call, regardless of whether the translation produces a different result.
  • Purchased tokens never expire.
  • All purchases are processed by Discord. Refund requests must be directed to Discord support.
  • We reserve the right to adjust token pricing at any time. Existing purchased token balances are not affected by price changes.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use PersonalTranslator to:

  • Translate content that violates Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • Attempt to manipulate or exploit the token system
  • Reverse-engineer or tamper with the bot in any way
  • Use the bot in a manner that disrupts the service for others

5. Service availability

We aim to keep PersonalTranslator running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be suspended temporarily for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.

6. Third-party services

PersonalTranslator relies on third-party translation APIs. We are not responsible for translation quality, downtime of those APIs, or changes to their pricing or availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PositiveSquare is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of PersonalTranslator, including but not limited to lost tokens due to service disruption.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to PersonalTranslator for any user who violates these Terms or abuses the service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
