PersonalTranslator uses a token system to keep things simple and fair. You only pay for what you actually translate.
How Tokens Work
1 token = 1 character
When you translate a message, the number of characters in the original text is deducted from your token balance. A typical Discord message is around 100–200 characters.
Your remaining token count is shown after every private translation:

Free Tokens
Every account starts with 5,000 free tokens — no payment required. These are added automatically the first time you use the bot.
Token Packs
When your free tokens run out, you can purchase a pack directly inside Discord using Discord's built-in payment system. No external account or website needed.

Tokens never expire. Once purchased, your balance stays until you use it.
Purchasing
- Run any translation command and exhaust your tokens, or
- Use the buy button shown when your balance runs out
The purchase flow happens entirely within Discord using your existing Discord payment method.
Translation Quality
Free-tier translations use a standard translation API. Paid users (any purchase) are automatically upgraded to a higher-quality translation engine for better accuracy on complex sentences and less common languages.
